Born from the experience of frequent moves and the observation of excessive furniture waste on the streets of New York...

FlatFlat started as founder Aidan Reinhold's senior thesis project at Parsons School of Design. Following his graduation in 2024, he exhibited the collection, then just consisting of the FoldSeat and FoldTable, at global design events. After some successful showings and media attention, he returned to New York City to grow the collection.

FlatFlat is laser-cut locally from 100% American-made aluminum, and fabricated by hand in Brooklyn, NY with aluminum hinges and rivets, making it infinitely recyclable.
